This German CV joint, part number 211 501 331B, goes on both sides of each rear shaft on every 68-92 Type 2 Bus & Vanagon, as well as the front inner position of every Syncro when the correct front inner CV joint isn't available. This should be the only brand you use, as we have replaced many cheaper brands (including EMPI) for out of town travelers and new customers that lasted them less than a year. It fits 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991 and 1992 models.
