Description   This screw, part number N 0330421, has multiple applications. VW superseded this part to this XZN drive version, but we prefer a Phillips screw for the mirror applications, since they are visible. The original VW screw was M6 x 18 class 8.8. The closest we've been able to find is M6 x 20 class 4.8 which is adequate to secure the mirrors on a Vanagon. Use the XZN screw for the sliding door mechanisms. Vanagon - secures sliding door hold open catch - 3 needed Vanagon - secures sliding door handle mechanism to door - 1 needed Vanagon - secures manual exterior mirrors - 4 needed Vanagon - secures power exterior mirrors - 6 needed It fits 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991 and 1992 models.
