This metal clip, part number 251 807 249, secures the rub strip to the steel bumper of a Vanagon. New replacement rub strips also use this clip. Please check to make sure yours does not use the plastic rub strip clips. It fits 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991 and 1992 models.
