This upper ball joint, part number 251407361HDXT, is used on all Vanagon models from 1980-1992 and is the ball joint of choice with us here at the Buslab when it comes to very lifted vans. We have seen many ball joints over the year and are incredibly pleased with these. T3 Technique made and featuring heavy duty construction for a long service life, grease fittings for serviceability, moly lithium grease (and plenty of it right from the factory), nitrile/PVC boots for durability and longevity.

Note: *IMPORTANT* - For fitment on a Syncro, you may need to drill the mounting holes to 27/64" (10.7mm) since the mounting holes in the Syncro arms are smaller than on a 2wd.

Fits: Most Syncros and lifted 2WDs with a front ride height over 18.5"/470mm (center of the hub to the fender lip).
