This item, part number 251 198 399F, is a set of German made stainless steel coolant pipes. This kit will work for every 82-84 water-cooled Vanagon up to VIN 24-F-060 000. These pipes measure 32mm (1-1/4 inch) outside diameter.

If you are fitting these to a diesel model, you may want to move to the larger diameter pipe set since the engine compartment hoses for CS and JX diesel engines are only available in that size. This will require changing your radiator hoses, and enlarging the frame passages which secure the pipes.
