Description   This reverse light (back-up lamp) switch, part number 085 941 521, is used on every 88-92 Vanagon with a manual transmission. VW recommends using a newer style switch which requires rewiring for a different connector to help prevent corrosion, but is not necessary if you do not wish to splice in a different connector.
