Description   This official VW spring, part number 251 609 301A, is used in combination with the other spring - 251609302A - to tension the rear brake shoes on every Vanagon. This is the left (driver) side forward spring and right (passenger) side rear spring. There is a complete rear brake hardware kit available, however we won't sell it due to low quality and poor fit, which for brake parts is unacceptable. It fits 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991 and 1992 models. 1 needed per rear brake - 2 total Supersedes: 251609301
