Description   This CV joint kit, part number 944 331 901 00, is designed for the Porsche 944, but matches up perfectly to a Vanagon. We like the joint in this kit for a lifted or off-road Vanagon because it has the ability to articulate more than the stock Vanagon joint. Unfortunately GKN won't sell the joint alone- We use different CV bolts because these are shorter than stock ones, and the kits are missing the serrated washers. The boots appear to be the same as stock Vanagon boots, but when a van is lifted near the limit of this joint, we've seen the boot tear near the mounting ring. If you want the most durable boot setup take a look at our lifted vehicle boots.
