Description   This strut, part number 251 829 332, is the right (passenger) side variable angle hatch lift strut for a Vanagon. It is used in tandem with the 251829331B left strut to make the hatch open and stay at a user defined angle, and was standard on an 81-92 Vanagon. This can be helpful if you are short and the high lift hatch struts open past your ability to reach the door, or if you don't want the hatch to spring open when released. To get the high lift struts you need two of the 251829331A. It fits 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991 and 1992 models. 1 needed
