This official VW temperature sensor, part number 025 906 041A, goes in the thermostat housing and sends the signal to the fuel injection computer of an 86-92 Vanagon. Although it's more expensive than our competitors' aftermarket version, we wouldn't install anything else for such an important function that needs an exact reading. Does not include the required o-ring N90316802, and would be good to replace the clip 032121142. It fits 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991 and 1992 models.
